Haiku 31 August 2009
No cars, no traffic,
waves wash the doors, boats are sailing
swws..This is Venice
(Alberto Savoi)
Nè macchine, nè traffico
onde bagnano le porte e le navi salpano
swws..questa è Venezia

Hello, Alberto san,
I'm Hidenori Hiruta in Japan.
My haiku name is 秋稲(Shuto), which means 'Autumn golden rice'.
I've found that you write haiku in two languages, Italian and English just as John McDonald san does.
Venice is very beautiful as your haiku is.
I'd like to enjoy your haiku from now on.
With the best wishes,
Hidenori Hiruta
Nice to meet you 秋稲! I'm Alberto Savoi from Cembra(Italy)
I love to write haiku and poetry in general.
I write in English because so my haiku can be read by people from all over the world.
I like Japan and Japanese culture and i hope to have a trip there as soon as possisble and then I will learn Japanese and write my haiku in Japanese too...
best wishes
Alberto

Hello, Alberto san,
let me know about your schedules when you come to Japan.
Maybe I'll be able to meet you then.

秋稲
